We will repair or replace your existing tank in case of failure with a 275 gallon above ground tank.

Tank Protection Terms and Conditions

  1. For initial tank protection request, Domestic Fuels reserves the right to decline acceptance of the tank after inspection.

  2. There will be a 90-day waiting period before the tank plan will take effect. During this period, Domestic Fuels may monitor the tank for leaks. If there are no problems, then Domestic Fuels will automatically accept the tank for protection.

  3. Tank replacement will be within a reasonable time period, during normal business hours.

  4. This Agreement does not include the cost of labor or materials for repair or replacement resulting from acts of God, fire, storms, or legislative regulations.

  5. Domestic Fuels will pump water from the tank, once at no charge, to determine if the tank leaking. If Domestic Fuels recommends replacement of tank and the Customer does not agree to replacement, Domestic Fuels will charge for any additional pumping of tank.

  6. This plan is void if a Customer requests tank removal and then converts to another fuel.

  7. This plan can be assigned if the assignee buys heating oil from Domestic Fuels on an automatic basis.

  8. If, for any reason, within 5 years of the new tank's installation, Customer cancels automatic service with Domestic Fuels, customer will repay Domestic Fuels for the free tank on a prorated basis of $150/year for the years remaining on the 5-year agreement.

ALL SERVICE PLANS ARE AVAILABLE ONLY TO CUSTOMERS ON AUTOMATIC DELIVERY. ALL PLANS MAY BE INCLUDED IN A BUDGET PLAN.
