Protection & Service Plans

The Protection Plans offered are intended for the ordinary residential or comparable-sized commercial burner. These plans are only available to customers who purchase their entire fuel requirements, with a minimum of 400 gallons annually, from Domestic Fuels and its affiliates.

Each Protection Plan is effective for one full year from date of acceptance.

Charges for labor and/or parts arising from this service performed prior to acceptance of this agreement may only be covered at the sole discretion of Domestic Fuels and its affiliates. A surcharge may be assessed for Saturday cleaning appointments.

Exclusions:

This agreement does not cover parts of labor when system failure is due to:

• Customer leaving switch off or setting thermostat too low to operate unit.
• Frozen or gelled oil lines.
• Vacant or unattended premises or inaccessible areas.
• Fuel tank failure or water or sediment in tank.
• Lack of oil or service when customer is not on automatic delivery or on credit hold.

This agreement also does not cover services, repair, or replacement of parts required as the result of abnormal conditions beyond our control, such as, but not limited to, acts of God, war, flood, fire, hurricane, explosion, vandalism and freeze-ups. Furthermore, Domestic Fuels and its affiliates are not liable for the inability to supply parts that are no longer available due to obsolescence.

New Customer Policy

This contract is pending an inspection by our service staff. Any defective parts, or systems not up to code, will not be covered under the contract.

Basic Protection Plan - $189.00

This plan includes:

1. Yearly inspection, cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting the oil burner and controls.
2. Thorough inspection of Boiler/Furnace interior and exterior surfaces, plus inspection of fire box area.
3. Replacement of all air filters, oil filters and the nozzle on a yearly basis.
4. Efficiency test performed with proper instruments for maximum efficiency.
5. The necessary repair or replacement of all parts and controls needed for maximum efficiency and safe operation of your heating equipment, including labor, as listed below.

Premium Protection Plan - $259.00

This plan includes our Basic Protection Plan plus the necessary repair or replacement of the following parts including labor:

Air Conditioning / Heat Pump - Service Agreement $184.95

This annual maintenance plan includes:

• Lubrication of condenser motor, blower motor and bearings as necessary and where accessible.
• Cleaning of indoor coil, outdoor coil (as necessary) and indoor air filter at time of annual check.
• Operational Check. Complete diagnostic of air conditioning unit, including freon pressures. Up to 2 lbs. freon added at no charge.

Repair or Replacement of the following Parts when worn out due to normal use:

Contactor
Relays
Condenser Motor
Overloads (except internal)
Start Devices
Time Delay Devices
Blower Motor
Low Voltage Transformer
Thermostat (plain heat/cool)
Capacitors

Compressors, Indoor Coils, and/or Condenser Coils will be replaced if in factory warranty. Out of warranty there will be a charge for those items plus labor.

This plan is in effect during regular service hours, 8:00 a.m -5 p.m., Monday-Friday. After hours calls will be billed at 1/2 of our overtime rate.
